The last time Dave and I were up in the bay area together, we drove around North Beach and just got lost in the city. I thought to myself on that last trip that it would be so awesome if I could shoot a session up here the next time we come visit. Luckily, Sarah & Aaron just moved to San Francisco recently and we had such a great time roaming around the city together.
I’m so grateful for clients like Sarah & Aaron who say things like, “Do whatever you want” and trust my creative vision despite how crazy it may look at times. haha San Francisco, you may have stolen my heart with all your adorable homes and store fronts and your breathtaking views. *sigh*Now place a beautiful couple in front of an already awesome backdrop and you really can’t go wrong.
I seriously have the travel bug people and desperately need to pull myself away from my computer like right now! haha Usually, when someone asks if I shoot sessions outside of Los Angeles, I will respond with, “Well, I have but I would prefer to shoot in LA/Southern California because it’s nice to be able to drive home at the end of the work day and who knows what could go wrong while traveling (i.e., your flight gets delayed like three times, you miss your flight all together or “what if” your equipment gets stolen). Plus I’d rather just book a flight and go on vacation vs. going for work.”
But after shooting this session in San Francisco, not only did I reignite this love and passion I have for traveling but I realized how shooting in a completely new environment also got my creative juices flowing again. And yes, while I could worry about all the “what if’s” and things that could potentially go wrong on a trip, I can’t stop thinking about all the fun I could be having roaming around a new city with lovers that I’ve never photographed before. Come next year
I hope you’ll be seeing an influx of travel posts from me while I document more beautiful people across the globe. There…I said it!
I would love for the opportunity to shoot more sessions in other major cities around the U.S: New York, Chicago, Miami and Honolulu just to name a few and perhaps travel for work internationally. So now it’s out in the universe and if you’re reading this and want to book a session with me when I show up to your city or if you would love for me to come to yours, please shoot me an email: firstname.lastname@example.org or fill out the contact form here. I would very much love to hear from you! I’ll be announcing some new travel dates soon and would love to link up: grab some coffee and/or enjoy some delicious food with you in your hometown. ♥♥♥
I hope you’re enjoying your (work) week!
