they are quite the jokester couple…never taking life too seriously. you can always catch the two of them laughing at something or making faces at each other then laughing again.

they are an extremely silly, genuine and fun loving couple. i discovered just how fun during their engagement/maternity session in malibu a couple months ago. it was only natural that their wedding was just that, fun!

i will never forget how many people were on the dance floor {basically everyone} and how much love and laughter filled the room that day. with all of their closest friends and family there having the time of their lives, it was truly a celebration to remember…

of course i had to sneak in a picture with the newlywed…

i am beyond excited for you both with the start of your new lives together and for your little family. ♥ thanks again for letting me be apart of it all. i had a blast!

jazlyn anne {newborn session}

the days and months are going by so fast!! i still can’t believe it’s may already. with mother’s day coming up just around the corner, i thought i would celebrate the first of the month with a blog post of a lovely newborn just three weeks old!

baby jazlyn’s mother is a dear friend of mine of over ten years. i was so excited when she contacted me about taking pictures for her baby girl! i must admit that it was a bit surreal seeing my childhood friend carrying a baby and changing diapers! it seemed like it was just yesterday we were walking through the eighth grade hallways together. {thanks sammy, for letting me document this new chapter in your life. xoxo.}

bisrat + yohannes {redondo beach engagement session}

bisrat and yohannes, otherwise known as bis and john are one of the sweetest couples i’ve ever met. i had only talked to bis over the phone and was so excited to meet her and fiance john in person! btw, thanks miss delaney for the referral.i love their energy. i love their connection. i love them together. ♥

i wanted to give them a shoutout today since today is their wedding day!YAY congrats lovebirds! bis already booked a photographer for the wedding but i was so honored when she contacted me to shoot their engagement session at redondo beach earlier this month. meet another lovely couple: bis & john…

erika + chris {redlands::orange grove engagement session}

he was immediately drawn to her smile. “who is that girl over there that just won’t stop smiling?”, he asks a close friend. their first encounter was six years ago in a crowded room, at a house party that he was throwing. she only came to pick up her friend and that is when he spotted her across the room. they have been inseparable ever since. he proposed this past christmas in front of close friends and family and they will be mr. & mrs. this coming november. ♥

i feel so blessed to meet couples who are truly in love. it’s so inspiring and so refreshing to see! get ready for some oooooo’s and ahhhh’s.meet the lovely couple erika and chris…

erika, it was so great meeting you finally! chris is definitely one lucky guy.i’ve actually known chris since highschool and up till the engagement session, it had been about ten years since i saw him last…except for on facebook of course! haha. i am so excited and can’t wait for your wedding later this year. i know it’s going to be a blast! :)
